1. Information We Collect

MortgageWise is designed with privacy in mind. The app works completely offline and does not require an account or login.

Data stored on your device only:

• Saved loan calculations (stored locally on your device)
• App preferences and settings

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this data on external servers. All calculations happen entirely on your device.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identification
• Financial information, bank details, or income data
• Location data
• Device contacts, camera, or microphone access
• Browsing history or usage outside the app

3. Advertising

MortgageWise currently shows advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information to serve relevant ads, including:

• Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
• IP address (used to determine approximate location for ad targeting)
• Device information (model, OS version)
• App usage data for ad frequency capping

This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by going to your device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

4. In-App Purchases

MortgageWise offers an optional "Remove Ads" in-app purchase processed securely through the Google Play Billing system. We do not collect or store any payment information. All transactions are handled by Google Play.

5. Internet Permission

The app requests internet permission solely for the purpose of displaying advertisements via Google AdMob. All mortgage calculations are performed offline and do not require an internet connection.

6. Children's Privacy

MortgageWise is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

7. Data Security

Since MortgageWise stores all user data locally on your device and does not transmit personal financial data to any server, the risk of data breach is minimal. Your saved calculations are protected by your device's own security measures.

8. Third-Party Services

MortgageWise uses the following third-party service:
